Case: Murder at Buckingham Palace

Greetings Detective,  

 

We've been hired to lead the ongoing police investigation into the death of Arabella Wellington, Duchess of York. I wanted to brief you on what we know so far.  

 

At the time of the incident, the Princess was attending an 80th birthday celebration held at Buckingham Palace for Queen Henrietta I. The royal family were all in attendance; as were all the highest ranking aristocratic families in Britain and Europe who are friendly with the Wellingtons.  No one from the media or from outside of aristocratic circles were invited, although kitchen staff, butlers and official royal photographers all worked the evening. 

 

Your Mission: We have identified a list of 6 suspects: Alexandra Wellington, Duchess of Norfolk; Kasper Holmgaard, Prince of Denmark; Margot Wolframberg, Princess of Luxembourg; Robert Fairgrove, Earl of Ashford; Roger Lyttle; and Tommy Wiggins.

 

• Start by opening the envelope we have provided filled with evidence. Inside, you’ll find key information about the case, the suspects, and the victim.
   

• Once you're familiar with the case,  your task is to uncover each suspect’s motive by examining evidence of jealousy, conflicts, or disputes. When you’ve got a motive for each suspect, follow the website to share your findings with me.
   

• Arabella’s smartphone holds critical clues. Search through the evidence to crack her passcode and gain access to more information.
   

• Finally, based on everything you've uncovered, identify the murderer and build your case. Don’t forget to look for the other suspects’ alibis. When you’re ready, submit your conclusion to me via the website.
